Please Consider Giving Us Your Time…
Our Farmers’ Market is mostly run by volunteers! We love meeting new friends and have a number of exciting opportunities for you to help us out! Learn some great skills and help out your community. A few hours a month, or even just three times over the season will make a big difference in the Market’s life and will enrich yours too!
What We Need: We are looking for VOLUNTEERS to help in the running of our farmers’ market. Duties include: assisting vendors with set-up, setting up of market information table, supervising traffic, answering questions from market visitors, serving customers at our coffee tent, assisting with special events, help with children’s activities and market closing.
DO YOU WANT TO JOIN US? If you love being outside, eating yummy local food, having fun with a great bunch of people, and being part of a wonderful community initiative, then the Withrow Park Farmers’ Market is the place for you!
Ideally, we are looking for volunteers who can commit to 3 markets or more!

The Withrow Park Farmers’ Market has been a Saturday morning outdoor community hub for 7 summers! The market runs every Saturday between June 4 and October 08 from 9am to 1pm, rain or shine. Withrow Park is one block south of Danforth between Carlaw & Logan in the east end of Toronto.
Who We Are: The Withrow Park Farmers’ Market was born in 2007, and is a place where Ontario farmers using organic and ecological cultivation methods, and local food entrepreneurs using sustainably and equitably produced ingredients in their products can directly connect with eaters. The market is the project of the Centre for Local Food Initiatives, a registered not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support, engage with and incubate small-scale and community-based local food projects.
