Manning Canning
This week, Pickled Silverskin Onions! Each year they hand peel 100lb of onions and pickle them using an old family recipe.
Manning Canning needs helpbuilding a rentable commercial kitchen. They are now 50% funded on the kickstarter campaign with 16 days remaining. Help us build the rental kitchen Toronto food producers need! Please check out and share this video. This will benefit the local food movement!
Cookstown Greens
Located an hour north of Toronto, Cookstown Greens has been growing organically since 1988. They are a family run business, and grow certified organic produce. This week they will feature:
- Fennel Bulbs
- Large Leeks
- Seasonal Roasting Vegetables. Perfect for Thanksgiving weekend!
- Root veggies, fresh from fall harvest: Beets, Carrots & Turnips
Haystrom Farm
Lots of fresh vegetables for Thanksgiving dinner! Brussels sprouts, pie pumpkins and plenty of squash, plus their usual veggies, fresh from the fields!

Gorgeous cut flowers for your thanksgiving table, and organic garlic planting kits!
Feast Of Fields
Sweet fresh apple cider, apples including some Spy variety which are great for Thanksgiving baking! They will also have pears, grapes, a few colourful tomato boxes, strawberries and possibly raspberries!
Field Sparrow Farms
They are having a special on chicken backs this weekend! They’re perfect for making soup or stock. They’ll be $3/bag, and each bag includes two backs.Plus, frozen whole chickens between 4-5 lbs for smaller Thanksgiving celebrations!

Sweet Sammies Ice-Cream Sandwich Co.
Showcasing Apple Pie and Pumpkin Spice ice cream sandwiches from their harvest collection, along with some classic flavours of ice cream sandwiches and assorted ice cream pints.
The Local Café, “The Bus Kitchen Bakery”, traditional baking from a fully equipped and certified mobile kitchen.Baked goods, savoury, sweet, gluten free, multigrain breads, loaf cakes, cookies, ever-popular granola, and much more!

Brian Hamlin, Beekeeper is back next Saturday!
Tiffinday is away for Thanksgiving but back next Saturday. Tiffinday’s vegan curry is carried at THE MEAT DEPARTMENT at 207 Danforth Avenue.
All our other vendors will be at Withrow this Saturday.
